Join us as Dr. Kathy McMahon, Psy.D., stops in Wedgewood as part of her larger Pacific Northwest sustainability speaking tour. Rather than ‘do therapy’ or ‘advise’ and ‘provide direction,’ the goal of her talk is to dialogue about what kinds of emotions are to be expected and anticipated, and how other people have learned to manage them.
"Dr. K" is the founder and main contributor to Peak Oil Blues website. She is a clinical psychologist and health care provider licensed in the State of Massachusetts, a clinician, an academician, a wife, a mother and chicken farmer. She is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, certified by the National Register of Health Service Providers (USA) and certified as a sex educator and sex therapist by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. She teaches in three graduate schools in New England as a senior adjunct faculty member. Dr. K. has 57 rare and heritage-breed hens and one rooster called 'Phil'.
