I love the Neighborhood Greenway, but too bad the city couldn't do something more like this - singing: Celebrate...celebrate...dance to the muuusiiic! Oh well, its still pretty cool. - Joe
This is a chart of who rides bikes and who does not. About 33% of us because of age or mobility limitations can not or will not use a bicycle. Around 7% of us are fair weather bikers. Less than 1% bike exclusively. The biggest category, around 60% is folks who can bike, who probably own a bike, but feel reluctant about biking in fast-moving traffic or feel they lack the skills to negotiate our roads. We could have a very high rate of biking if we planned for the 60% of "reluctant bikers".
