Cyrus,
I was just clearing out my computer email and came across your old message.  I was wondering...did you, by chance use to work at the Oregon Health Science Center as a young doctor?  I worked there as a clerk in the ER while going to college. I remembered a doc who worked there who had changed his name to Cyrus Appell.  Always remembered it because it was a) a great name and b) it was the first time that I really realized one's life, including one's name really was something that one could change.

We have been organizing for the second season of greenhouse production of organic starts for food bank gardens. a few months ago we put out notices about needing volunteers for this year. Well we got 25 volunteers which was too many to fill the slots we had open in the greenhouse work rotation! However there will be other opportunities to join in on some of our work this year. What you can do is 2 things:

-Contact Abby Klingbiel (she's listed in the ning of Growing Food, Growing Community) who is the communications lead for this group and get your name on our list of participants.

-Consider coming to the first intro greenhouse class to be held next Sat 2/20 3:00-5:00 at Solid Ground on 45th St in Walllingford. I don't know the address but it's in the same building as the W'ford Library.
