Hi Rick,

This is Valli Sanstrom. I was at Sweet Crude and spoke to you about Mangrove Action Project (MAP) www.mangroveactionproject.org  and our 'Question Your Shrimp' campaign.

Here are links to the films we would like shown at meaningful movie night.

The Truth Behind “organic” Shrimp Farming in Ecuador

By naturskyddst.http://youtu.be/NNpkEgtCEB8

Murky Waters

By naturskyddst http://youtu.be/hPJpPEH3l7o

We would also be happy to show our Powerpoint presentation but realize you are about FILMS.

MAP has been working globally for 20 years at mangrove restoration and educational outreach around the issues of coastal wetland deforestation and the devastating effects of shrimp farming.

Let us know if we fit into your future planning for meaningful movies.

Thank you,

Valli

Hi Rick

this is jan spencer in eugene. I think you do meaningful movies? Then we have e mailed before about the Closer to Home Movie project that didnt quite make it out of the studio.

I would like to make a presentation at keystone congregational church. I have spoken with Rich Gamble, the pastor, and he told me if someone, such as a board member of meaningful movies would assist that night - open and close the building, i could use the space for making a free and open to the public presentation. the possible dates are march 9, 10 or 11

the presentation, about economics, making creative use of what is already available to us, permaculture, resilient neighborhoods, some great projects here in eugene,,, this would be a live presentation with power point.

i can describe more, i will pay for the use of the space. the presentation would of interest to many people

would you please pass this message on to your board? i will be speaking in a number of places around puget sound

thanks rick
